Negeri van Oranje

A collaborative novel by Wahyuningrat, Adept Widiarsa, Nisa Riyadi, and Rizki Pandu Permana. Big credit to the writer team for bring back lucid memories of living a life as a student in a small piece of land called the Netherlands.

I guess that it is true, people are so predictable. The same place, same conditions, have resulted in exactly the same experience. Reading this book is very much like strolling back each footstep, slowly and meticulously. Pick up left memories every here and there, raising them up one by one closer to my eyes, observing them carefully, smile and cry unavoidably.

Between true story or fiction, from my deepest sincerity, I congratulate the writer team, not for their chance to study abroad and exploring Europe, but rather for embracing a true friendship along the way.

Those experiences may highly valuable but those friendships are priceless!

*suddenly I desperately miss my comrades in Amsterdam and the tears and laughters we shared together*
